Reef Fishing Mevagissey
Reef fishing or drifting on Aquila can be great fun. We have some great different species we catch throughout the year
Cod, Pollack, Conger, Dogfish, Bream, Bass, Wrasse and Huss taken off the reef grounds.
The reef trips can be 4 or 8 hours normally starting between 07:30/09:00 and again at 13:00/14:00 depending on the day. The fishing will commence between 20 and 30 minutes of leaving the Port, as the rough grounds begins within 2 miles of the Harbour The BEST of the reef fishing comes between Mid May and the end of September.
TARIFF – individuals
4 hour fishing – £37.50 per child, £40 per person over 14 a maximum of 10.
8 hour fishing – £65 per child, £75 person over 14 a maximum of 10.
Rod and reel hire FREE.
This includes end tackle but is on a fair use policy
